One of the major undertaking of The BA is the bring the International Environmental Criminal Court into being.
We are well aware of the currently ongoing campaign called “Charter of Brussels” for the International Criminal Court for Environment and Health by the group named End Ecocide on Earth. We do support their efforts.
At the same time we nurture slightly different approach. We hold the view that the decision making pace of ICC cant cope with everyday crimes against the ecosystem. Moreover environmental crimes are often complex issues involving expertise in various fields other than classical law. Therefore we determined to pursue the foundation of the IECC on it’s own, separately from ICC.
Our concept to establish the IECC is to be published here soon.

Excellent article by Sadiq Khan; shows there are still good people around 🙂
