I’m increasingly pleased with the global availablity of MOOCs (massive open online courses). Many good universities and other educational providers have hopped onboard this exciting opportunity for all (as long as you have internet access). I’ve recently done four, and have a fifth starting in July. The choice of subjects is vast, and the internet itself is the perfect medium for delivering quality interactive learning materials, as well as easy assessment online. There are deadlines to submit assignments, but otherwise you can work at your own pace and at times that best suit you. Personally I’m all for life-long learning. Michael 🙂
